Sellersville, PA -- Home again, home again

[HOMEAGAIN] After stopping briefly at Pocono Whitewater to socialize with Gary's friends, we set about conquering the serious climbs up Cherry Hill and Little Gap. These difficulties dispatched, we rewarded ourselves with giant ice cream shakes, shook hands, and parted ways to ride home individually. Tomorrow, we will ride one last time, converging at TJ's for the final ride into AC via the Tacony Palmyra, RT 30, a wheel dunk near Tennessee Ave, then on to dinner at the Pirate's Den in Brigantine.

Today's ride was very easy, powered, as we were, with the excitement of getting home, not to mention a decent tailwind. Blue Mountain and Cherry Hill are big, but not quite as big as the Wyoming Valley climbs. We both did just fine, riding conservatively.

From our ice cream stop at the foot of Blue Mountain, Gary continued on PA Bike Route L, eventually by way of the T-Town Velodrome where he did a 200m sprint fully loaded -- he claims he has pictures to prove it -- then on to his home. Me, I rode the Tom R's 300K brevet route backwards to Richlandtown Rd, thence to familiar roads home. I added an improvement to the brevet route suggested by Gary taking me over South Mountain through the Lehigh campus rather than on the busy PA 378.

    Welcome Home!

Great ride! Looking forward to the finish tomorrow! HoOpe to hear alllll about it soon. and maybe again on a canoe trip somewhere... Note to your dad: I think it's too late about the mountain climbing... from what I saw in franconia notch ... chris hiking confidently off into a snow squall that most would have just as well let alone, chris already has the bug, and may still be after the prize at the top of LaFayette. But that'll be another story, today it's The Ride that's cause for Celebration!

    Thanks for the Blog!
