    Binghamton, NY

Its no longer about the riding, seeing the sights in a new town or state, overcoming personal limit, or any of that. The five-hundred pound gorilla in our room now is this: how do we finish this thing.

That's long been the question, of course. When would we be done. How long will it take. Well, now we know. Barring disaster, well be done on Monday.

The plan is this. Tomorrow -- Saturday -- we ride to Pocono Whitewater and camp there courtesy of Gary's friends. Then -- Sunday -- we ride home. There's some question whether to camp in our yards or just to sleep in our beds, but the next day -- Monday -- we'll et up at the usual time, dawn, and ride the rest of the way to AC.

If you want to join us in our ride of triumph, all are welcome. Contact us, or TJ, to coordinate.

    Garrett & Chris,

Congratulations on even starting your trip. Most would not dare to try. I have enjoyed reading your blog all along - wishing I could join you for the ride. What a great life experience. Don’t wish it to ever end. Have a safe last few days. Are you riding back home from AC?

Way to go Chris! We all admire your intestinal fortitude. Your adventure was a topic of conversation on the Schuylkil Sojourn this year; hope you come next year to tell us more about it.

Chris - it has been a lot of fun following your progress across the U.S. If Monday wasn't my first day back from vacation, a drive to AC would have been strongly considered. Glad your journey was an adventure, and like Dennis, I hope you can regale us next June with tales of your odyssey.
