Fri, 10 Jul 2009 Its no longer about the riding, seeing the sights in a new town or state, overcoming personal limit, or any of that. The five-hundred pound gorilla in our room now is this: how do we finish this thing.
That's long been the question, of course. When would we be done. How long will it take. Well, now we know. Barring disaster, well be done on Monday. The plan is this. Tomorrow -- Saturday -- we ride to Pocono Whitewater and camp there courtesy of Gary's friends. Then -- Sunday -- we ride home. There's some question whether to camp in our yards or just to sleep in our beds, but the next day -- Monday -- we'll et up at the usual time, dawn, and ride the rest of the way to AC. If you want to join us in our ride of triumph, all are welcome. Contact us, or TJ, to coordinate. |
